This establishes that these characters and events belong to the surrounding conflict, not that episode 27—or any particular event in it—is what the teaser previewed.

The Conflict is the third part of the anime adaptation of the Thousand-Year Blood War story arc. The reported CBR search-result summary places its Japanese television premiere on October 5, 2024, and describes a 13-episode run, but those details were not independently confirmed against an accessible original announcement here. How does Part 3 relate to the later final cour?
Part 3, The Conflict, is distinct from The Calamity, the later final cour. In a July 1, 2026 announcement, VIZ said The Calamity would premiere July 25, 2026, at 7:30 a.m. PDT on Hulu in the United States and Disney+ in select international markets. VIZ’s synopsis describes the Royal Guard’s confrontation with Yhwach, the Soul King’s death and battles at Wahr Welt. Those are later-cour release details, not the release date or content confirmation for the Part 3 teaser. VIZ’s release announcement provides the platform and date information.
VIZ and Fathom also announced a limited U.S. theatrical presentation of the first three The Calamity episodes from June 25–29, 2026, before broadcast and streaming. Where can readers compare the anime with the manga?
BLEACH originated in Weekly Shonen Jump and spans manga and anime, as VIZ notes in its franchise overview. The manga is therefore a relevant route for checking the source story against the adaptation, but a scene-by-scene comparison requires identifying the specific teaser footage first. The sources cited here do not verify a particular manga volume, anime disc edition or current product listing.
