Caicedo habló ante los invitados, se arrodilló con un anillo en la mano y le preguntó a Diez si quería compartir con él el resto de sus vidas buscando “el amor de papito Dios”. Ella aceptó. La escena fue compartida por la pareja en sus cuentas oficiales, según Infobae Colombia.
People en Español atribuyó a Caicedo estas palabras previas a la pregunta: “Desde que llegué a Medellín me enseñaron que Dios no une personas, Dios une propósitos”. Según ese medio, Diez respondió: “Te amo. Te diría y te digo sí las 10.000 veces que sea”.

El compromiso no es el estado actual de la historia: Caicedo y Diez se casaron el 26 de diciembre de 2024. Univision informó que celebraron una ceremonia cristiana íntima en Hacienda Santa Mónica, en Llano Grande, Antioquia. Al describirla, Caicedo dijo: “Fue algo muy bonito, no fue la megafiesta, no tiramos la casa por la ventana. Quisimos ofrecerle a los invitados un lugar a gusto. No quisimos que el protagonista fuera el lujo, ni la ostentosidad —ni Juliana y yo— si no que fuera Dios. Dios fue el protagonista”. Univision cubrió la boda en diciembre de 2024.
