Entertainment reports named Sydney cinematographer and Steadicam operator Jake Iesu as the man seen with Sarah Roberts in Sydney in June 2025. PerthNow reported that they held hands at an art show and later attended the Sydney Film Festival; a later Now To Love article recounted those outings. Neither report establishes whether they are currently together or cites a direct public confirmation from Roberts.
What was reported about Sarah Roberts and Jake Iesu?
PerthNow reported on 17 June 2025 that Roberts had been seen holding hands with Iesu in Sydney. It said they attended an art show on 13 June and were seen at the Sydney Film Festival a few days later. The report identified Iesu as a Sydney cinematographer and Steadicam operator. PerthNow’s report is the source for those details.
On 5 December 2025, Now To Love revisited the June sightings and identified Iesu as an artist as well as describing his work. Its account is later coverage, not a direct statement from Roberts. Now To Love’s article provides that additional description.
What is known about Roberts’s relationship with James Stewart?
Roberts and James Stewart were married and worked together on Home and Away. PerthNow reported that they met in 2017, became engaged the following year and married in 2019. The same article said Roberts confirmed their divorce in an April 2024 interview with Stellar.

PerthNow attributed these words to Roberts in that interview: “But I just want to say that I’m divorced.” It also attributed to her the comment, “Sometimes people just grow apart, and that’s okay.” These quotations are reported through PerthNow; the original Stellar interview is not cited here as a directly consulted source.

No direct confirmation from Roberts is established by these reports. “New partner” and “new man” are the outlets’ framing of the sightings, not proof of a publicly confirmed relationship. The June 2025 account and the December follow-up document what those publications reported at the time; they do not establish the pair’s current relationship status.
