What dress was Sabrina Carpenter wearing?
In a post reportedly shared on Instagram on January 4, 2026, Carpenter wore Mirror Palais’s Diamond Dust Lady Dress. The look was described in coverage as a sheer, tea-length embellished dress. The official listing calls it a lady-length dress and says it is designed in New York City and made in New Delhi, India.
Why does the dress look sheer?
The brand says the dress has chrome paillettes—small, flat decorative sequins—on the bust and hem, plus a removable power-mesh lining that allows it to be worn sheer. Its bust lining is 95% silk and 5% Lycra stretch charmeuse; the removable lining is 85% nylon and 15% spandex. The outer tulle is 100% polyester.
The listing describes the fit as true to size and notes a side-seam hook-and-eye closure, with snaps attaching the lining below the cleavage. It also warns that the delicate hand-beaded dress may shed some paillettes with wear. Care instructions are professional spot clean only; do not iron or steam.
