When did Sabrina Carpenter announce and release Short n’ Sweet?
Carpenter announced the album on June 7, 2024, and named Friday, August 23, 2024, as its release date. Universal Music Canada confirmed on August 23 that the album was out via Island Records/Universal Music Canada. The announcement date and release date are separate: the album is no longer forthcoming.

In a social announcement attributed to Carpenter, she wrote, “Short n’ Sweet” MY NEW ALBUM IS COMING OUT AUGUST 23rd!!!! She also described the project as “quite special to me” and said she hoped it would be special to listeners. The June 7 announcement also accompanied the release of the single “Please Please Please” and its music video. Official Charts reproduces her comments; the album release was confirmed by Universal Music Canada.
