The Shorty profile says Shion and Loann created Sunlight Entertainment to streamline production and minimize Ryan’s on-camera participation. That describes the studio’s stated production rationale; it does not establish what Ryan privately wanted or how the arrangement affected him.
What the production operation looked like in 2024
In March 2024, Pocket.watch and Sunlight Entertainment announced their first feature film, Ryan’s World the Movie: Titan Universe Adventure, with a planned nationwide opening on August 16, 2024. The announcement identified Sunlight Entertainment as the Kaji family-owned production studio.

The same announcement said Sunlight had a 30-person team and released about 25 videos a week at that time. Those figures describe the operation as presented by the companies in 2024; they are not independently audited measures or confirmed current totals.
How the franchise reaches audiences
The documented formats show how Ryan’s World extended from online videos into other kinds of entertainment and licensed goods. The evidence describes the forms the franchise took, not how well each performed.

What is—and is not—established about Ryan Kaji today
