Ruby Rose said in a Threads post reported by PerthNow on 3 June 2025 that people had followed her and that dozens had tried to run her off the road. She also referred to Virginia Giuffre’s death, while explicitly saying she did not know how Giuffre died. The reported statements are Rose’s allegations; the cited reports do not independently verify them or establish a connection between the two women’s experiences.
What did Ruby Rose say?
PerthNow reported on 3 June 2025 that Rose made the statements on Threads after responding to a prompt asking, “Who is a celebrity that gave it all up at the height of fame to go live a ‘normal’ life?” Rose, described in the report as 39, said people had been trying to kill her and that she had been followed.
PerthNow reproduced Rose’s words: “I don’t want to be labelled ‘crazy’ and I don’t want to pretend to know how Virginia Giuffre died — but DOZENS of people including a school bus, have tried to run me off the road in the last few years.” These are claims Rose made; the report does not independently establish that anyone followed or tried to harm her. PerthNow’s report is the contemporaneous account of the post.
What did Rose say about Virginia Giuffre?
Rose expressly said she did not want to pretend to know how Giuffre died. She did not, in the words PerthNow reproduced, claim that Giuffre was murdered or say she had evidence linking her own allegations to Giuffre. The two subjects appear together in Rose’s statement, but the cited coverage establishes no connection between them.
#1 Best Overall
The Associated Press reported that Giuffre died by suicide at age 41 at her farm in Western Australia. AP described her as a prominent accuser of Jeffrey Epstein and an advocate for survivors of sex trafficking. Its report also quoted a statement from Giuffre’s family: “Virginia was a fierce warrior in the fight against sexual abuse and sex trafficking. She was the light that lifted so many survivors.” The AP account supplies context about Giuffre’s death; it does not verify Rose’s claims.

Rank #2
| Source | How it relates to the story | What it establishes |
|---|---|---|
| PerthNow, 3 June 2025 | Contemporaneous report of Rose’s Threads post; reproduces her statement. | What Rose reportedly said, not whether the allegations are true. |
| Associated Press | Provides reporting on Giuffre’s death and public role. | AP reported that Giuffre died by suicide at age 41 at her Western Australia farm. |
| CBS News, 19 October 2025 | Retrospective report including a quote from Giuffre’s 2019 press conference. | Context about Giuffre’s account of being recruited and her advocacy; not corroboration of Rose’s allegations. |
At a 2019 press conference, Giuffre said: “I was recruited at a very young age from Mar-a-Lago, and entrapped in a world that I didn’t understand, and I’ve been fighting that very world to this day.” CBS News quoted her in its 19 October 2025 report. That statement concerns Giuffre’s own account and should not be read as evidence about Rose.
None of these reports independently establishes that people targeted Rose, identifies a motive, or links her allegations to Epstein or Giuffre. Rose’s statement is the source for her claims; the reports about Giuffre provide separate biographical and death context.
