Saiyan Battle is the name used by a 2016 Droid Life article for a simple Dragon Ball Z-style Android fighter whose body calls it Super Battle for Goku Devil. The article describes a one-boss-at-a-time ladder, energy-consuming attacks, and touch controls for dodging and fighting. A later Android APK listing also uses the name Saiyan Battle, but it is not confirmed to be the same release.
Which game does “Saiyan Battle” refer to?
The name is ambiguous. In its March 22, 2016 article, Droid Life headlined the game “Saiyan Battle” but referred to it in the body as “Super Battle for Goku Devil.” The article covered an Android game then promoted on Google Play. Its description is the basis for the gameplay details below.
A later Uptodown listing names an Android app Saiyan Battle by LIP Studio. It identifies version 1.4.2 as a free, proprietary APK, lists a 48.2 MB file, and displays March 3, 2022. Those details establish what Uptodown lists, not that this APK is the same game or build described in 2016. The available listings also do not establish whether the old Google Play app remains available.
There is a separate same-name game on Y8. It is presented as a free browser game, added August 25, 2023, for desktop keyboard or mouse play. The listing does not establish a connection to either Android app.

What is Saiyan Battle about?
Droid Life describes a boss ladder: the player faces one opponent at a time, with each boss becoming harder as the player advances. Early fights leave room to use attacks such as Ki Blast, Kamehameha, Dragon Recall, and Big Bang Attack. These moves consume energy; bosses drop power-ups that replenish it. Later bosses hit harder, making survival and energy management more important.
The 2016 writer summarized the game this way: “This game is as straightforward as can be, having you play as a Super Saiyan warrior.”

How do the controls work?
The 2016 article describes a two-finger touchscreen scheme: use one finger to move the character vertically and avoid incoming attacks, while using another to attack the boss. It says that careful timing can help the player evade attacks. This is the original article’s account of the controls, not a current hands-on verification.
Was it free, and how was it monetized?
Droid Life reported in 2016 that the Android game was free to download and play, with optional coin purchases for alternate character looks and video ads after a few rounds. The writer considered the cosmetic unlocks unnecessary unless players wanted a different appearance. Those are historical terms, not confirmed current pricing or monetization for either the later APK or any app-store listing.

Can you play Saiyan Battle on mobile?
The Android game covered by Droid Life was described with touchscreen controls. Uptodown currently lists a later Android APK under the same name, but its relationship to that 2016 game is unconfirmed. Y8’s listing, by contrast, describes its own browser game as intended for desktop keyboard or mouse play, not mobile.
