Sal (Salvador Perez) and Mallory are no longer together. Netflix Tudum’s September 29, 2026 update says Sal later began dating Jessi, whom he met at his sister’s birthday party, but it does not establish whether they are still a couple. Tudum also describes Sal as being in his “cooking era”; it does not identify cooking as his career or a specific venture.

Netflix Tudum’s September 29, 2026 update, “Which Couples Are Still Together from Every Season of Love Is Blind?”, says Sal and Mallory are not together. That is the clearest confirmed point in the latest update about his relationship status.
What’s known about Sal and Jessi
Tudum recounts that Sal revealed on After the Altar that he had begun dating Jessi, whom he met at his sister’s birthday party. Sal described their first meeting by saying, “The minute we met, there was something there.” The quote refers to how the relationship began, not its status today.
Tudum explicitly says it is unclear whether Sal and Jessi are still dating. The available update therefore supports describing their relationship as a past development, not calling Jessi his current partner.

What “cooking era” does—and doesn’t—tell us
Tudum characterizes Sal as being in his “cooking era,” but the update does not give details of a cooking project, business, or career change. It is a brief description, not evidence that he has left one profession for another.
How much of Sal’s post-show life is documented
The September 29, 2026 update is a season-by-season relationship-status roundup, not a detailed biography. It establishes that Sal and Mallory are no longer together, recounts the start of his relationship with Jessi, and leaves the couple’s present status unresolved.
