The track celebrates his 2024 election victory, taunts his critics and gives Barr a verse about her own public backlash and Eminem.
What is Roseanne Barr’s Trump rap song called?
The song is “Daddy’s Home,” a collaboration between Barr and Tom MacDonald. Its video presents Trump’s return to the White House as a cause for celebration. TheWrap described a procession of trucks and other vehicles carrying Trump flags, alongside a refrain aimed at people upset by the election result. TheWrap’s January 17, 2025 report quoted MacDonald promoting the release with: “Celebrate the inauguration with us!”
When did the video come out?
The video was released on YouTube on January 17, 2025, three days before Trump’s January 20 inauguration. It is a 2025 release, not a new song debuting now. E!’s January 22 report, updated January 23, also identifies January 17 as the release date.
What does Barr say in her verse?
Barr’s verse frames the criticism and cancellation she faced after her 2018 remarks about Valerie Jarrett, a former Obama adviser, as part of her own story. The lyric revisits that backlash but does not settle or establish the facts of the earlier dispute. E! also notes that Barr takes a swipe at Eminem; its January 22 report said he had not addressed the diss at that time.

One lyric was initially transcribed incorrectly in TMZ’s January 17 coverage. The outlet corrected “The Spanish goin’ back” to “This granny’s going bad.” TMZ’s report and correction are useful context for quoting that line accurately.

TMZ described the video as receiving “tens of thousands of views in its first hour,” but gave no exact count or measurement method. That is a contemporaneous outlet characterization, not an audited view figure. E!’s account of audience comments is anecdotal, so it should not be read as a representative measure of public opinion. The reviewed reports do not establish a chart position, sales, or verified streaming total.
