You can seek it out as a digital film listing or on physical video, while its separate 18-track soundtrack is available on CD, 2xLP vinyl and digitally. Which format makes sense depends on whether you want the film or the music—and, for the 4K disc, whether you have a compatible player.
What is Rite Here Rite Now?
Prime Video describes the film as Ghost’s first feature film, combining live performances from the band’s sold-out Kia Forum shows in Los Angeles with a narrative arc that picks up plot threads from its long-running web series. Universal Music Sweden likewise describes a feature combining previously unseen 2023 concert footage with a story drawing on that series. It is therefore not simply a concert recording: the performance footage and the fictional narrative are both part of the film.

Prime Video lists the runtime as 2 hours 19 minutes. That is the runtime on its title listing; the soundtrack album’s separate duration is 1 hour 30 minutes according to Apple Music.
When did it reach theaters?
The theatrical event took place in June 2024, but the calendar varied by market. Fandango lists June 20, 2024, and Universal Music Sweden announced global screenings on June 20 and 22. The Swedish announcement specified June 20 and 23 for Sweden because of Midsummer, so those dates should not be treated as a universal schedule.

Where can you watch the film?
Prime Video has a listing for the film; a regional version showed rental and purchase options. That listing does not establish a single worldwide way to watch it, nor does it mean the title is included with a subscription everywhere. Check the storefront for your country for current availability, rental or purchase terms, languages and captions.
Which home-video format should you choose?
| Format | Best for | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray | Viewers who want a physical film edition and have a 4K UHD player. | Veeps lists a 4K edition with an exclusive Q&A, an animated video for “The Future Is a Foreign Land,” and Ghost’s Chapters 1–28 as bonus content. The listing gives December 13, 2024 as its release date. The disc is not compatible with a standard Blu-ray player. |
| Standard Blu-ray | Viewers with a standard Blu-ray player. | Veeps lists a Blu-ray/DVD product page. Check the exact package listing: the available product information does not establish that every territory or variant includes both formats. |
| DVD | Viewers who use DVD playback equipment. | Veeps lists a Blu-ray/DVD product page; verify the exact format and current stock before buying. |
| Digital film listing | Viewers who prefer a digital storefront. | Prime Video lists the title, and a regional listing showed rental and purchase. Availability and terms depend on territory and can change. |
The practical distinction between the discs is playback compatibility. Veeps explicitly warns that Ultra HD Blu-ray discs do not work in standard Blu-ray players. Confirm that your player supports 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray before choosing that edition; a regular Blu-ray player is not enough.

Is there a separate Rite Here Rite Now soundtrack?
Yes. Ghost’s official Bandcamp page lists an 18-track original motion picture soundtrack, released July 26, 2024, in digital, CD and 2xLP vinyl formats. Apple Music also lists 18 tracks and a duration of 1 hour 30 minutes. These are audio editions of the soundtrack, not copies of the film.
- Soundtrack CD: a physical audio copy for CD playback.
- Soundtrack 2xLP: the vinyl edition for listeners with a record player.
- Digital soundtrack: the album in a digital music format.
Film or soundtrack: which one are you looking for?
Choose a film listing or video disc if you want the concert footage and narrative feature. Choose the CD, 2xLP or digital album if you want the music without the film. In particular, a soundtrack CD or vinyl record is an audio release, not a home-video edition.
