Nintendo and Crocs launched their first Animal Crossing footwear collection in August 2025: green clogs inspired by the game’s island setting, with removable Jibbitz charms featuring characters and familiar objects. The US and Canada launch began August 26; Japan and the broader global launch followed August 27. Crocs’ regional listings can show whether products remain listed, but do not guarantee that a style or size is in stock.
What the Animal Crossing Crocs look like
The collection uses green footwear to evoke the game’s island environment. Crocs Japan’s July 2025 announcement describes the sole as representing the sea and the strap as representing the sky, with floating balloons suggesting a calm island scene. A Tanuki design appears at the strap rivet. These details turn the clog itself into a small island-inspired scene rather than relying only on character decoration.
The Japanese release named two footwear styles: an adult Platform Clog and a kids’ Classic Clog. Both are clogs, but they use different silhouettes and are aimed at different size ranges.

Which characters and objects appear on the Jibbitz
The Creator and Collector packs draw on recognizable characters and island objects. The Japanese release calls out Tom Nook, K.K. Slider, a house and an apple tree among the designs. Nintendo’s US announcement also names individual Creator charms. The charms are removable decorations, so they let owners personalize compatible clogs rather than changing the underlying shoe design.

When the collaboration launched
The dates differed by market. Nintendo said availability in the US and Canada began August 26, 2025, with the global launch following on August 27. Crocs Japan separately announced that its collection would go on sale in Japan on August 27, through the official online store, Crocs brand stores and participating retailers.
These are past launch dates, not a promise of present availability. Crocs Japan also reported in its 2025 collaboration release that the Animal Crossing series had sold more than 45 million copies cumulatively since its 2001 debut. That figure is Crocs Japan’s statement in the release, not an independently audited figure attributed here to Nintendo.

Can you still buy Animal Crossing Crocs?
Availability depends on the region, product page, size and current stock. Crocs UK’s official Animal Crossing x Crocs collection page displayed adult Platform Clogs, kids’ Classic Clogs and the Collector 5 Pack when checked. A listing indicates that a product is represented on that storefront; it does not confirm that a specific size is available to order.
For a current purchase, check the local Crocs product page and confirm the size and stock status before relying on a collection listing. Japan’s launch announcement lists official and participating retail channels, but its published launch details do not establish current inventory. Prices outside Japan, current prices, and marketplace availability are not established by the launch figures above.
