What the “Porsche Holiday” ad shows
Frank Landymore’s December 29, 2025, report for Futurism describes “Porsche Holiday” as a 30-second animated commercial. It follows a driver along an autumnal mountain road and then through a city at sunset. The visuals have a 2D-like look, with precise lines, geometric forms and bright colors.
What Porsche’s production description reportedly said
According to Futurism, Porsche shared behind-the-scenes footage describing the production as a mix of hand-drawn sketches and CGI, and credited the Paris-based animation team Parallel Studio. The report’s account is the basis for those production details; the underlying Instagram material was not independently retrievable for verification.
Why viewers interpreted it as an anti-AI ad
The distinction matters: the report says Porsche did not specifically mention AI. Viewers interpreted the description of hand-drawn work and CGI as implying that AI had not been used, then praised the spot on that basis. That interpretation is not the same as a confirmed statement from Porsche that the commercial was AI-free.

Futurism reports one viewer writing, “Can’t wait for more of this anti-AI rebound.” Creative director Nathan Allebach offered a broader opinion: “As slop races us to the bottom, real art signals craft, prestige, and trust.” His comment is one person’s perspective, not evidence of a measured industry-wide or public consensus.
