Which Disney+ and Hulu plan disappeared?
The change concerns a legacy arrangement in which a subscriber added Disney+ to a Hulu account and was billed through Hulu. Tom’s Guide reported on December 9, 2025 that the add-on was no longer offered and that existing subscribers would lose it at their next billing cycle on or after that date. The report said current Disney+ bundle plans were not affected by this specific change.
This is a reported cancellation rule, not a timing detail confirmed by the official help pages cited here. The available information does not establish the outcome for every annual or third-party-billed account. If your billing cycle or provider makes the timing unclear, rely on the notice and plan details shown in your own account.
Does this mean Hulu is going away?
No. Hulu’s Help Center said on May 19, 2026: “Hulu and Hulu Premium subscriptions will continue to be available, and by the end of the year we’ll be further integrating Hulu within Disney+.” Subscribers can continue watching through the Hulu app and website. Eligible subscribers can also browse Hulu content within Disney+; that integration does not mean every Hulu feature or plan is available there.

Can you watch Hulu inside Disney+?
Hulu says eligible subscribers can watch Hulu content within Disney+, but Hulu Live TV is not yet available there. Plan and profile-linking eligibility also has limits: Hulu’s May 19, 2026 guidance excludes Hulu Live TV, Disney+, Hulu, Max Bundle, and Hulu Add-ons from profile linking. Check the eligibility details for your own plan rather than assuming that access to one service automatically carries over to every app feature.

How to check whether your subscription is affected
- Identify who bills you. Check your receipt, payment statement, or account details to determine whether Hulu, Disney+, or a third-party provider handles your subscription.
- Review your current plan. On Disney+, go to your Account page to manage plans, billing, and settings. Hulu-billed subscribers should also review their Hulu account and any service notice they received.
- Confirm what is changing before switching. The reported next-cycle removal may not establish the timing for annual or third-party-billed accounts. Use the details in your account or contact the provider shown as your biller.
- Compare the available bundle with your needs. If you want both services, Disney+ lists the current bundle options. Confirm the plan, price, and billing provider before making a change; switching or canceling can affect a legacy plan’s terms.
