She shared the story on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live. The reports do not identify the former partner or say whether she accepted the request.
What Raven-Symoné said
In a report published August 5, 2025, SiriusXM quoted Raven-Symoné describing a former partner with whom she had been together for seven years: “We were together for a really long time and he got another girl pregnant. And the best part of it was he asked me to be the godmother of the kid.” SiriusXM’s account of the interview also quotes her saying they were still in communication and that she had “nothing but love and respect” for what he had gone through.

What is known about the former partner
SiriusXM described him as well-known, and BET reported Raven-Symoné’s characterization of him as “pretty well-known in our community and in the community that he works in.” That description does not establish his identity. BET’s report, like the other cited coverage, does not name him.
What remains unconfirmed
Us Weekly’s August 6, 2025 report says Raven-Symoné did not identify the former partner or say whether she accepted the godmother request. It also reports that she said they remain in contact and expressed love and respect for him and his family. E! News likewise reports the seven-year relationship and her description of the ex as famous in his industry, but does not identify him.
