The Eminem Show tops BestSellingAlbums.org’s estimate-based ranking of Eminem releases, followed by The Marshall Mathers LP and Curtain Call: The Hits. The list was updated December 13, 2024, and includes compilations and label projects as well as studio albums, so it is not a ranking of studio albums alone.

The ranking covers a mix of release types, including studio albums, a greatest-hits compilation, and label projects. The table therefore ranks releases listed for Eminem on that page, rather than only his studio albums.

Why other sales totals do not match this ranking
Sales estimates, certification units, and publisher-reported totals use different scopes and measures. They should not be combined into one leaderboard or treated as interchangeable counts.
Worldwide estimates versus US certifications
The ranking above gives release-level estimates, but BestSellingAlbums.org’s artist page does not set out how those totals were compiled. RIAA awards, by contrast, are for the United States. Eminem’s March 8, 2022 announcement reported 61.5 million RIAA album certification units at that point. The announcement notes that the RIAA has counted digital sales since 2004 and on-demand streams since 2013, so certification units are not simply a count of worldwide physical copies.

- Live
Guinness World Records reports US RIAA certifications of 12 million units for The Eminem Show and 11 million for The Marshall Mathers LP, with the latest awards dated March 8, 2022. Those US figures do not contradict a larger worldwide estimate; they describe a different geography and measurement.
A separate worldwide claim for The Marshall Mathers LP
Eminem’s official anniversary page says The Marshall Mathers LP “has sold 25 million copies worldwide,” while BestSellingAlbums.org lists an estimate of 18,912,631. The available sources do not provide enough methodology to reconcile these distinct publisher claims, so neither figure should be presented as an agreed definitive total.

Career totals are not album-by-album rankings
Interscope Records states that Eminem has sold over 130 million albums and 389 million singles worldwide. The page does not date those career totals, and they do not supply comparable sales figures for each release in the table.

What the ranking can—and cannot—tell you
- It identifies the order on one published estimate list. On that list, The Eminem Show leads, followed by The Marshall Mathers LP and Curtain Call: The Hits.
- It is broader than a studio-album chart. Compilations and label-related projects appear alongside studio albums.
- Its figures are estimates, not a verified global ledger. The ranking page gives an update date and totals but does not explain its release-level estimation method.
- Its snapshot has a date. The listed order and estimates are those displayed on December 13, 2024; they should not be described as a live or independently audited count.
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
