Where and when Davies and Baird were found
New South Wales Police announced on 27 February 2024 that the bodies had been found at a property in Bungonia, south-west of Sydney. The discovery ended the search for the two men. ABC News reported that the accused assisted police in locating them.
In the days before the discovery, police were investigating the men’s disappearance. ABC News reported on 23 February that police had found a significant amount of blood at Baird’s home in Paddington. That was part of the investigation at the time, not a court finding about what happened.
