Pink guest-hosted The Kelly Clarkson Show for one week, from Monday, March 2, through Friday, March 6, 2026. It was a temporary guest-host assignment—not a permanent takeover or confirmation that Pink would replace Kelly Clarkson. The week opened the show’s Women’s History Month coverage.
What Pink’s guest-host week focused on
The program framed the week around women’s achievements, resilience, and impact across music, culture, and community. Pink described the assignment as a new challenge, saying she had “played stadiums and danced on the side of buildings,” but that guest-hosting for Clarkson was “a brand new feat.” She added: “Let’s celebrate women, joy, resilience and whatever comes else comes our way!” TheWrap reported her comments.
Who appeared during the week
Us Weekly named Darren Criss, Courteney Cox, Neve Campbell, Chloe Kim, and Allison Williams among the guests during the March 2–6 run. The available reporting does not provide a complete episode-by-episode schedule, so it does not establish which guest appeared on which day. Us Weekly’s recap lists the names.
Why Clarkson was absent—and what it means for the show
Clarkson said she was sorry she would not be there to watch Pink host, and praised Pink’s music and character: “I have been a fan for so long and have always been inspired by her music and her person. I love her!” TheWrap reported Clarkson’s statement.

The guest-host week arrived after Clarkson announced that Season 7 would be her last as host. She cited wanting to prioritize time with her children. NBC said production on the seventh season would continue and that special guest hosts would be announced; the show was expected to air episodes through fall 2026. Those plans provide context for a guest-host rotation, but do not identify Pink as Clarkson’s successor. Good Morning America/ABC News reported Clarkson’s departure announcement.
