Perth singer Gisella Colletti’s debut single, “Good Enough,” was announced for release on 17 October 2025, ahead of her first Telethon Weekend appearance. Colletti later said she premiered the song live on Channel 7’s Telethon that October. Telethon Weekend was scheduled for 18–19 October at RAC Arena; an exact performance time was not reported.
From Australian Idol to “Good Enough”
Colletti finished third on Australian Idol in April 2025, according to PerthNow. The City of Cockburn also described her as a grand finalist in a profile published on 26 May 2025.
The single announcement came during the difficult transition after the competition. PerthNow quoted Colletti saying, “As the emotional comedown from Australian Idol hit, it was one of the toughest challenges I’ve ever faced.” She described the song’s starting point this way: “It was through those feelings of doubt and vulnerability that Good Enough was born.”
What the song is about
“Good Enough” was presented as a reflection on self-acceptance and personal growth, shaped by doubt and vulnerability. PerthNow reported that the recording took place at Studios 301 in Sydney with producers Audius Mtawarira and Simon Cohen. The article also reported that Ariana Grande’s 2024 album Eternal Sunshine inspired the song’s harmonies; that production detail is attributed to PerthNow’s account.
