Its signup deadline was January 15, 2025, and the reported reward code expired January 31, 2025. It is no longer a way to get a free plush.
How the offer worked
PokéBeach reported on December 30, 2024, that Pokémon Center was updating its email systems and asked existing marketing subscribers to register again. The email reportedly promised a code for one plush from the Sitting Cuties collection to customers who re-registered by January 15, 2025.
According to the email terms reproduced in that report, subscribers had to use the same email address as their current marketing subscription and complete registration by 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on January 15. The code was expected by January 20 and, according to PokéBeach, expired January 31, 2025. The offer was subject to availability. Read the report and reproduced offer wording.
The promotion report is a contemporaneous secondary account, not an official terms page. It does not establish the offer’s full geographic scope or every eligibility condition, so those details should not be inferred.

Can new subscribers get the free plush now?
No. The offer’s stated deadlines have passed. Pokémon Support’s newsletter instructions explain how to enroll in marketing emails, but do not promise a Sitting Cuties code or free plush for signing up. Pokémon Support’s newsletter FAQ describes selecting “Get Email Updates,” entering an email address, country, and birthday, choosing newsletters, and accepting the terms and privacy policy. Pokémon Center Support’s signup instructions provide the corresponding Center newsletter route.
Those are current enrollment instructions, not a continuation of the 2024–25 reward. Signing up now may bring Pokémon marketing emails, but the cited instructions do not say that it earns a free plush.

What was a Sitting Cuties plush?
Sitting Cuties is a Pokémon plush collection. The promotion concerned one plush from the collection, rather than a cash reward or a guaranteed specific character. Pokémon’s April 5, 2023 announcement for the Unova-region release described 174 new plush products; that number applies to that release only, not to the present-day size of the entire Sitting Cuties collection. See Pokémon’s Unova collection announcement.

The reported email said a qualifying code would be sent by January 20, 2025. That code’s reported January 31 expiration date has also passed. The available information does not establish a current extension or replacement offer. For questions about a particular account or message, contact Pokémon Center Support rather than relying on a new newsletter signup to produce the expired reward.
