Yes—Peppa and George have a baby sister named Evie. Hasbro announced Mummy Pig’s pregnancy in February 2025, revealed Evie’s name in May, and planned her arrival in the show’s Season 11 storyline that year. Those announcement and premiere dates have passed.
Who is Peppa Pig’s new sibling?
Evie is Peppa and George’s baby sister. Hasbro describes her as having a heart-shaped birthmark, and the family now includes Peppa, George, Evie, Mummy Pig and Daddy Pig. Hasbro revealed Evie’s name on May 20, 2025.
When was Evie announced and when did she arrive on screen?
The key dates are historical, not upcoming:
- February 27, 2025: Hasbro announced Mummy Pig’s pregnancy and said the episode “The Big Announcement” would premiere on Nickelodeon on March 31, 2025. The announcement also said the new sibling would arrive in Season 11 later that year. Read Hasbro’s pregnancy announcement.

What is the new-sibling storyline about?
Hasbro said the story follows Peppa adjusting to a new baby and learning to help George as the family dynamic changes. It is framed around the “big feelings” an older child may have when a baby joins the family, giving preschool viewers a story about that transition.
Hasbro also introduced “Muddy Puddle Parenting,” a three-part video series with Dr. Becky Kennedy about preparing older children for a new baby and adjusting after Evie’s arrival, along with a free downloadable parent guide. Why did the show add a fifth family member?
Hasbro presented the change both as a familiar family experience for preschool viewers and as a way to develop the existing characters. In an April 16, 2025 interview, Esra Cafer, Hasbro’s Senior Vice President, Global Brand Strategy and Management, said the arrival of a fifth family member would let the original four characters “develop and evolve as individual characters.” Read the interview.

Families looking for ways to extend the story beyond the episodes have an official playset and an activity book among the directly relevant options. Neither is needed to understand the storyline.

Hasbro’s listing says the playset is not available everywhere, and it does not establish current stock or price. Penguin Random House lists the book as published July 8, 2025; current retailer availability and prices are not established here. Hasbro’s May 2025 announcement also named an Oinks & Snuggles interactive Baby Evie doll, a Peppa’s Family Five Pack figure set, Peppa’s Big Family Car and Peppa’s Big Fold Out House. The company said those initial products were exclusive to Walmart through July 31, 2025, with non-exclusive Evie products expected at major retailers from August 1, 2025.
