Paris Hilton’s 11:11 Media Impact raised $800,000 for Los Angeles fire victims by January 14, 2025, according to the Associated Press. Follow-up AP coverage put the nonprofit’s first-week total at $1.2 million. Hilton’s Malibu home was destroyed in the Palisades Fire; the relief effort first focused on displaced families and animals, with a separate business-recovery program following later.

Hilton’s home in Malibu burned in the Palisades Fire. That personal loss was part of the context for her public response, but the fundraising and relief work extended to people and animals affected by the wider Los Angeles-area fires.

The figures are snapshots from different points in a fast-moving fundraising effort, not contradictory final totals. AP coverage on January 14 also reported a $150,000 donation from Hilton for families displaced by the Eaton Fire. That specific donation should not be added to either reported fundraising total: the reports do not establish that it was separate from the totals.
What the January emergency effort supported
On January 10, 2025, Hilton announced an emergency fund through 11:11 Media Impact to help families who had lost their homes. The early response involved CORE, an emergency-relief organization. The effort also addressed animal welfare, and Hilton volunteered with Baby2Baby and the Pasadena Humane Society.

In March–April 2025, 11:11 Media Impact took part in a business-recovery program with GoFundMe.org and the Pasadena Women’s Business Center. The program provided grants of up to $25,000 to 50 women-owned businesses affected by the Eaton Fire. GoFundMe.org’s 2025 annual report confirms the recipient count and maximum grant amount.

Hilton described the recipients as “the backbone of their communities” in a statement reported by the Associated Press. This was a later recovery initiative—not the January emergency fund for displaced families.
