The published schedules conflict, and current replay availability has not been established.
What was Psica Dourado?
Psica Dourado was the 13th edition of Festival Psica, held across three days in Belém. The state cultural announcement described more than 50 attractions and positioned the festival around Pan-Amazonian connections, with an emphasis on Black and peripheral culture. The event’s two settings were the historic Cidade Velha and Estádio Olímpico do Pará, commonly known as Mangueirão. Agência Pará / Secult’s 2024 announcement gives the dates, locations and curatorial context.
Festival director Jeft Dias described the title’s namesake fish, the dourada, as a metaphor for the festival’s reach: “A dourada é essa metáfora que resume a pulsão que sempre moveu o Psica: viver profundamente as Amazônias. Essa conexão nos levou a pensar no percurso da dourada, peixe que vem dos Andes até a baía do Marajó. Então o line-up está representando muito do imaginário popular amazônico, que habita no nosso subconsciente, na nossa memória afetiva. São coisas que a gente experiencia aqui se conectando também com Brasil e mundo afora”. The quotation is from the state agency’s announcement.
What was the Multishow special, and when did it air?
The special was reported as a television program collecting highlights from the 2024 festival. Estado do Pará Online reported that Multishow’s program ran for 52 minutes and was scheduled for December 22 at 1:30 p.m. It also reported a 90-minute extended edition on Globoplay and a BIS broadcast scheduled for December 30 at 11 p.m.
