Princess Charlotte joined Kate Middleton, Prince William and Prince George at the Wimbledon men’s singles final on July 13, 2025. Her animated reactions to the match—and a post-final meeting with champion Jannik Sinner—helped make the family’s appearance a memorable part of the day.
Charlotte’s day at the 2025 Wimbledon final
The family watched Carlos Alcaraz face Jannik Sinner in the men’s singles final on Sunday, July 13, 2025. Good Morning America dates the family’s appearance to that day, while Marie Claire identifies the match and describes Charlotte’s reactions.
Why her reactions drew attention
Charlotte was reported to have gasped and cheered as the match unfolded. Those visible moments give a concrete basis for describing her as having “stolen the show,” though that phrase is an impression, not an objective measure of who mattered most at Wimbledon.
A meeting with the champion
After the final, Charlotte and George met Sinner and received a signed ball, according to Marie Claire. The post-match moment brought the young royals into direct contact with the winner of the match they had just watched.

What Charlotte wore
Marie Claire identified Charlotte’s outfit as a sleeveless ivory dress with black ruffle trim, a custom Sarah Burton for Givenchy design. The publication also reported that she wore Ray-Ban sunglasses, Papouelli flats and a Pandora silver charm bracelet.
The bracelet was described as including a Nala character charm, a green crystal charm and an engraved heart charm. The message on the heart was not legible in the photographs, so its wording cannot be confirmed from the report. These are publication-reported identifications, not independent confirmation that the pieces are currently available or that an exact replica can be purchased.

How the 2025 appearance differs from 2024
Kate and Charlotte also attended the Wimbledon men’s final in 2024, but it was a separate appearance. Vogue reported that Charlotte wore polka dots and Kate wore a custom Safiyaa Cecilia dress in Wimbledon purple. Kate, who became patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in 2016, presented that year’s winner’s trophy to Carlos Alcaraz.
ABC News Australia reported that Kate received a standing ovation at the 2024 final and sat with Charlotte and Pippa Matthews. Those details belong to the 2024 event; they should not be confused with the 2025 final, when Charlotte’s reported match reactions and meeting with Sinner were among the moments that attracted attention.
