Prime Video’s Reacher topped Nielsen’s March 2025 streaming-title rankings with 6.6 billion viewing minutes, according to TheWrap’s report of Nielsen data. The ranking covers a defined five-week measurement period—not every TV program in March.
What the March ranking says about Reacher
TheWrap reported that Reacher recorded 6.6 billion viewing minutes in Nielsen’s March streaming-title list. That put the crime drama ahead of the other listed streaming programs by total minutes viewed. TheWrap’s contemporaneous figures are the source for the title-level totals; Nielsen’s accessible official release establishes the measurement period and broader TV context, but does not show Reacher’s exact total. These are reported total minutes, not audience percentages. The 6.6-billion figure was 1.8 billion minutes above the next reported totals, shared by Family Guy and Bluey.

What “March” means in Nielsen’s chart
Nielsen’s March Gauge measurement ran from February 24 through March 30, 2025, following Monday-to-Sunday weeks. Its monthly Gauge is a snapshot of broadcast, cable and streaming consumption through television screens. The title ranking is therefore best described as a lead among streaming titles in that measurement window, not as proof that Reacher beat every broadcast and cable program as well. Nielsen’s Top 10 page defines its streaming charts as U.S. rankings by total minutes viewed among persons 2 and older, drawing on Nielsen Streaming Content Ratings and the Nielsen National TV Panel, with viewing through television. Streaming’s wider share of TV viewing
Nielsen reported that streaming accounted for 43.8% of television usage in March 2025, while total TV viewing time declined 6% from February. Those figures describe streaming’s share of overall TV use and the month-to-month change in total viewing; they are distinct from the minutes attributed to individual titles. Nielsen also said the ten most-watched streaming titles in March were distributed by seven platforms—the first time that had happened in a monthly Gauge report.

Reacher’s lead was substantial within the reported title list: its 6.6 billion minutes exceeded the 4.8 billion recorded by the next-ranked titles. The breadth of the list also matters. Nielsen’s seven-platform tally shows the top ten were not concentrated on only a few services, even as one Prime Video series led the title ranking.
