Perth-raised actor Callan Colley plays Landon, a colleague of Finn Grayson, in the romance film One Perfect Match. A February 2024 report said the film was screening at Reading Cinemas in Mandurah, Belmont and Busselton; that listing is historical, not confirmation of current showtimes.
What is One Perfect Match about?
The story follows Lucy Marks (Merritt Patterson), a matchmaker who meets Finn Grayson (Joshua Sasse) and then discovers he is her newest client. Colley plays Landon, Finn’s work colleague. The film was directed by Jo-Anne Brechin, who had previously worked with Colley on When Love Springs. Both films were produced by Steve Jaggi of Jaggi Entertainment, according to the February 2024 profile.
The profile says the production was filmed in Brisbane, with the city standing in for Seattle. Flicks lists the Australian film as a romance directed by Brechin, with an 88-minute runtime and a G classification. Tubi separately lists it as a 2023 romance/drama with a 1-hour-29-minute runtime and a TV-PG rating. Those are platform-specific listings, not evidence that every service uses the same runtime or classification. Tubi’s listing also does not establish Australian availability. Flicks’ Australian listing and Tubi’s listing provide their respective details.
Callan Colley’s Perth background and acting work
In Tanya MacNaughton’s profile, published 29 February 2024, Colley says he grew up in Fremantle before his family moved to Armadale. He attended Carey Baptist College and graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art in 2016. The profile also names his work with Sydney Theatre Company and Melbourne Theatre Company, and appearances in the television series Paper Dolls, Colin From Accounts and Return to Paradise. These are details from that 2024 profile, not a complete or current résumé.

One particularly meaningful stage role for Colley was Happy Loman in Sydney Theatre Company’s Death of a Salesman at Roslyn Packer Theatre. He recalled having attended performances there from the upper seats before later performing on its stage. In the profile, he described the venue as having “just under 1000 seats”; that figure is his recollection, not an independently verified capacity.
Colley also reflected on the different experiences of screen and theatre: “Screen allows you to capture this magic with beauty, and theatre is like fireworks because it’s different from every angle, depending on where you sit and which night you go,” he told MacNaughton.

Where to watch One Perfect Match
The February 2024 Mandurah Times report named Reading Cinemas Mandurah, Belmont and Busselton as screening locations at that time. It should not be read as a current cinema schedule. Flicks’ Australian listing names YouTube, Apple TV Store and Prime Video Store as rental or purchase options and currently provides no cinema screening information. Store availability can change, so check the listing or the services directly before making plans. The listed digital options do not establish that a DVD or Blu-ray edition is available.
In the same interview, Colley said, “I also really hope that more rom-coms are made here. I’m a sucker for rom-coms.” He also spoke warmly about Perth: “The weather, the people, the beaches — everything just moves at a pace that feels right for my soul.” The full interview and its dated cinema report are in PerthNow/Mandurah Times’ 29 February 2024 profile.
