The Perth Royal Show 2025 was scheduled for 27 September to 4 October at Claremont Showground, 1 Graylands Road, Claremont, Western Australia. Those dates have passed: this is a retrospective guide to what the 2025 preview announced, not a current event notice. The preview promised new high-diving and ride attractions alongside the show’s agricultural competitions, livestock, rides, food and showbags.
When was the Perth Royal Show 2025?
The show was scheduled for 27 September–4 October 2025 at Claremont Showground, 1 Graylands Road, Claremont WA 6010. The date range was published in a 2025 family guide from Holiday Inn Perth City Centre; the Royal Agricultural Society of Western Australia’s official event page confirms the venue address, but now promotes the 2026 show.
Caitlin Vinci’s PerthNow preview, published on 13 August 2025, described the event as 44 days away. Its attraction details were advance announcements, not a report on what ultimately took place. The show has now passed, so those plans should not be read as a current schedule.
What was new in the 2025 preview?
Flying Force high-diving act
PerthNow reported that Robyn Sermon, executive officer of the Royal Agricultural Society of Western Australia, announced Flying Force, a Canadian high-diving team. The planned act involved dives from a 25-metre platform into a three-metre-deep pool, with three performances each day and an illuminated evening version.

Late Night Woodies and fireworks
PerthNow said Late Night Woodies, a country-inspired music and entertainment precinct, was to begin after the fireworks each night. The preview also described a fireworks concept as a “360 degree sky theatre.” A separate 2025 guide from Holiday Inn Perth City Centre listed fireworks at 8:15 pm nightly; that promotional hotel guide is not an official timetable, so the time should be treated as a secondary-source listing, not a confirmed schedule.
What could families and children expect?
The 2025 family guide listed a broad mix of animal encounters, competitions and midway attractions: an Animal Nursery, livestock and animal competitions, woodchopping, rides, Sideshow Alley, food precinct Grazeland and showbags.

The event’s official identity extends beyond rides and entertainment. Its competition program spans livestock, equestrian, arts and agriculture, with categories that include alpacas, cattle, goats, horse show jumping, working dogs and pigs. Why agriculture was central to the show
PerthNow’s 2025 preview presented the agricultural precinct as a defining part of the event. Western Australian Agriculture Minister Jackie Jarvis said: “Everything that’s linked to agriculture and everything that is great about agriculture in Western Australia, you’ll see here at the Perth Royal Show.” The official competition listings reflect that breadth, pairing livestock and agricultural events with equestrian and arts categories.
The article reported a $2.8 million government funding boost, an additional $950,000 in Lotterywest funding, and $600,000 announced for a program supporting affiliated agricultural shows around Western Australia. These amounts are figures reported by PerthNow in 2025; they are not independently verified financial statements here.

PerthNow also reported that more than 430,000 people attended the preceding year, describing it as a record. That is a figure for the prior year, not attendance at the 2025 show, and it is attributed to the newspaper’s preview rather than an independently audited dataset.
What the 2025 preview said—and what it cannot confirm
Sermon told PerthNow: “To make this not an everyday event, we have locked in some amazing new attractions this year and more value, more variety,” she said. The article captured the show’s intended combination of new spectacle and longstanding agricultural programming; it does not establish which announced attractions operated as planned or how many people attended in 2025.
