Diciembre de 2025 y enero de 2026: mastectomía derecha reportada
Listín Diario informó que Villalobos comunicó haberse sometido a una mastectomía unilateral derecha. Según el medio, al evaluar su participación en el ensayo RECAST, sus médicos decidieron retirar el seno derecho por zonas preocupantes observadas en una resonancia. La nota también reportó que buscó otras opciones y opiniones médicas que coincidieron en esa decisión. No se publicaron en esa cobertura detalles clínicos suficientes para caracterizar la operación, sus resultados patológicos o la indicación como aplicable a otras pacientes. El Nuevo Día informó que el presentador Georges Biloune anunció que Villalobos estaba libre de cáncer de seno. La noticia no aportó una confirmación clínica independiente, como un informe médico o resultado de laboratorio. Por tanto, la formulación más precisa es que el medio reportó ese anuncio en enero de 2026, no que exista una certificación médica pública de su situación actual. El Nuevo Día reportó el anuncio atribuido a Biloune.
Qué significa CDIS, en términos generales
El National Cancer Institute (NCI) define el CDIS como células anormales en el revestimiento de los conductos mamarios que no han salido de ellos ni se han extendido al tejido mamario circundante. Puede denominarse carcinoma no invasivo o estadio 0; algunas lesiones pueden volverse invasivas. Esta definición general explica el término, pero no describe por sí sola la extensión ni el pronóstico de una persona concreta. El NCI explica qué es el CDIS.

Qué tratamientos contempla el NCI para el CDIS
Como contexto general —no como explicación ni recomendación sobre el tratamiento de Villalobos—, el NCI incluye entre las opciones la lumpectomía con radioterapia, la mastectomía con o sin radioterapia y la terapia hormonal cuando las pruebas de biomarcadores indiquen que podría ayudar. La elección depende del cuadro individual y se toma junto con el equipo clínico. Entre los aspectos que pueden importar están la extensión y localización de las lesiones, sus características patológicas, la posible necesidad de radioterapia, los biomarcadores y las preferencias de la paciente.
