Once upon a Time…in Hollywood also won the Oscar for Production Design. That was a separate award for the film, not another award for Pitt. The 92nd ceremony honored films released in 2019; Sony’s 2018 announcement gave the film’s planned worldwide release date as August 9, 2019. In describing the story, writer-director Quentin Tarantino called it “a story that takes place in Los Angeles in 1969, at the height of hippy Hollywood.” Sony’s announcement quotes Tarantino and gives the release date.
