NICKMERCS’s reported Kick deal was a one-year, non-exclusive agreement worth eight figures, announced in October 2023. He could continue streaming on Twitch, although most of his broadcast hours were expected to move to Kick. In November 2024, he said the deal was “up” and that he would stream primarily on Twitch. The exact contract terms—and the reason it was not extended—were never made public.
What NICKMERCS agreed to in 2023
GamesBeat reported on October 19, 2023, that Nicholas “NICKMERCS” Kolcheff would expand his streaming presence to Kick under a one-year, non-exclusive deal. The agreement was reported as worth eight figures, but neither the exact value nor other contract terms were disclosed. GamesBeat’s announcement report said he could keep streaming on Twitch, while most of his broadcast hours were expected to shift to Kick.
That distinction matters: this was not reported as an exclusive departure from Twitch. It was a move to make Kick his primary streaming destination for most hours during the agreement, while retaining the option to broadcast on Twitch.
How the partnership connected to MFAM events
The announcement tied the partnership to community events and creator-led esports tournaments, with an initial emphasis on the MFAM Gauntlet series. Kick was also set to sponsor MFAM Central in Las Vegas on October 20 and 21, 2023. GamesBeat described the event as including the MFAM Classic golf tournament, a FaZe Arcade presented by Xfinity, and an MFAM and UFC watch party.

The reporting did not establish why it ended. It remains unclear whether NICKMERCS chose not to extend the deal or whether a replacement offer was unavailable. His statement said “primarily” on Twitch, so it should not be read as a promise of exclusive Twitch streaming or proof that he would never stream on Kick again.
What “eight figures” does—and does not—tell you
“Eight figures” gives a broad reported value range, not a disclosed contract amount. GamesBeat reported the deal as worth eight figures but said its exact details were not public. The figure should not be treated as a confirmed annual salary, guaranteed payment, or total compensation breakdown: the available reporting does not specify how the value was calculated or what it included.

Kick’s later platform-wide subscription economics do not fill in those gaps. Its Help Center published a 95/5 split for subscription and KICKs revenue on August 27, 2026, and describes a $5 monthly subscription with $4.75 paid to the streamer and $0.25 as a processing fee. Those are published platform terms, not evidence of the private terms or value of NICKMERCS’s 2023 agreement. Kick’s Help Center explains its revenue split.

In June 2026, Riot Games announced that KICK would carry broadcasts of global and regional League of Legends Esports, VALORANT, and TFT events beginning with MSI 2026, excluding China and Korea. Riot also described creator and partner program opportunities and said KICK viewers would receive the same drops and incentives offered on other platforms for those broadcasts. The announcement describes Kick’s later platform activity; it does not indicate that NICKMERCS renewed his agreement. Riot’s announcement sets out the partnership’s scope.
