Austin Beckett, a member of Richard Blais’ team, won Next Level Chef Season 4. His reported three-course menu paired red shrimp, salmon and ribeye with flavors and techniques drawn from his culinary travels. In a May 2025 interview, Beckett said he planned to use part of the $250,000 prize to launch a traveling pop-up, while saving and investing some of the money.
Who won Next Level Chef Season 4?
Austin Beckett won Season 4 as a member of Richard Blais’ team. Parade identified him as the winner in a post-finale interview published May 15, 2025. FOX’s official show description says the winner receives a $250,000 grand prize and a one-year mentorship with Gordon Ramsay, Nyesha Arrington and Richard Blais.
What were Austin Beckett’s final three dishes?
Parade reported the courses under Beckett’s theme, “My Culinary Travels on a Plate.” The interview lists the dishes but does not provide recipes, quantities or independent tasting notes.
- First course: Butter-poached red shrimp with ouzo butter and crispy leeks.
- Second course: Crispy-skin salmon with glazed carrots and macadamia nut romesco.
- Third course: Ribeye with caramelized onion purée finished with cream.
The menu moves from shrimp to salmon to beef, with each plate pairing a central protein with composed sauces or accompaniments. The dish descriptions above are those reported by Parade, not a recipe for recreating them.

How did Beckett say he would spend the $250,000?
In Parade’s May 15, 2025 interview, Beckett described the prize as a way to move forward with a pop-up idea he had been developing for years. He said: “Short-term, I’m definitely going to start a traveling pop-up, which will eventually become a stationary one, so getting equipment, getting a small property.”
He also said he planned to save and invest some of the money for longer-term goals and intended to make extensive use of the mentorship. These were plans he discussed at the time of the interview; the sources cited here do not establish whether the pop-up later opened or how he ultimately allocated the prize.

The food direction behind the pop-up idea
Beckett described a concept that would combine live wood fire and South American asado techniques with Southeast Asian-style cooking. As he told Parade: “I want to use live wood fire, South American-style cooking techniques, which is called asado, but I want to go from my heart, which would be Southeast Asian-style dishes, cooking, and flair, so combining those two.”
That description connects the menu’s “Culinary Travels” theme to the direction he hoped to pursue beyond the competition. It is a stated culinary ambition, rather than confirmation that a restaurant or pop-up using that concept has since opened.
