Spoilers through the end of the Wano arc. This is a subjective ranking of the eleven rookie pirates known as the Supernovas when they gathered at Sabaody: pirates whose bounties had exceeded 100 million berries. The broader label “Worst Generation” also includes Blackbeard, but he was not one of those original eleven, so he is not ranked here.
The order weighs demonstrated combat outcomes, the strength and circumstances of opponents, versatility and mastery of abilities, and how much recent on-page evidence each character has. Bounties and narrative importance are not treated as direct measures of fighting strength. The manga does not publish an official Supernova power ranking, and several placements are uncertain because their recent combat records are limited.
How to read this ranking
The list uses the original Sabaody cohort and a consistent cutoff: events through the end of Wano. It ranks demonstrated fighting capability, not hypothetical future potential or the danger a character might pose under ideal conditions. A character with fewer recent fights may have a lower placement simply because there is less evidence to compare.
Luffy and Zoro are identified as members of the Worst Generation on the official Shueisha / Weekly Shonen Jump page, but its bounty information belongs to an earlier point in the story and should not be read as current. The ranking below is an editorial interpretation of manga evidence, not a canonical order.

The Supernovas, ranked
1. Monkey D. Luffy
Luffy ranks first because his Wano fights provide the strongest combination of opponent quality, endurance, adaptability, and decisive results in this group. He repeatedly returned to battle against Kaido, developed his Haki under pressure, and ultimately defeated him. That record is more substantial than a high bounty or prominent role by itself: it is supported by a sustained sequence of consequential fights.
2. Trafalgar D. Water Law
Law’s strongest evidence is his role in the battle against Big Mom, where his awakened Devil Fruit abilities helped create the opening for her defeat. His tactical judgment and ability to attack through unusual angles make him exceptionally versatile. He ranks below Luffy because the Wano result was a joint effort with Eustass Kid rather than a solo victory, and his individual record does not match Luffy’s repeated contests with Kaido.

3. Roronoa Zoro
Zoro’s Wano performance puts him near the top: he fought alongside the other Worst Generation captains against Kaido and Big Mom, then defeated King, a powerful opponent in Kaido’s crew. His swordsmanship and Haki give him a highly effective close-range style. The gap between Zoro and the two above him is partly a matter of evidence: Law’s awakening and Luffy’s final victory show broader battle-changing capability.
4. Eustass “Captain” Kid
Kid earns this position through his contribution to the Big Mom fight and his ability to use his magnetic powers creatively against a formidable opponent. His durability and willingness to keep fighting under extreme pressure are clear strengths. He sits behind Law because the pair’s shared victory does not make their individual contributions identical, and Law’s demonstrated tactical versatility is more extensive.

5. X Drake
Drake’s Zoan transformation, military training, and experience as a covert Marine give him a broad toolkit and make him a capable combatant. He fought in Wano’s chaotic battles and continued to operate amid shifting alliances. His placement remains uncertain: compared with the four above him, he has fewer recent, clearly decisive one-on-one results against top-tier opponents.
6. Urouge
Urouge’s known record includes defeating a member of the Big Mom Pirates’ Sweet Commanders, an unusually strong result for a Supernova outside the Wano group’s most documented battles. His ability to convert damage into increased strength makes him dangerous in a prolonged fight. There is not enough recent on-page combat evidence to establish how he compares with Drake or the characters below him, so this middle placement is especially provisional.

- Please Note: To reach 10Gbps speed, keep the cable under 3.3 ft. For USB A Male to USB C adapters, try flipping the USB C connector. USB C Male to USB A adapters support bidirectional 10Gbps transfer within 3.3 ft
7. Killer
Killer showed the skill to injure Kaido while fighting alongside the other Supernovas, then faced Zoro in a separate encounter. His speed and combat instincts make him more than Kid’s supporting partner. He ranks below Urouge because his notable Wano achievements came in difficult but group-heavy circumstances, while Urouge has the clearer individual victory over a high-ranking opponent.
8. Basil Hawkins
Hawkins’ card-based abilities and straw-doll technique make him difficult to approach and give him options beyond straightforward offense. In Wano, however, his eventual defeat by Killer weighs against him. His powers are versatile, but the manga shows a more limited record of successful high-level combat than the characters ranked above him.

9. Scratchmen Apoo
Apoo’s sound-based attacks can catch opponents off guard, and his Wano confrontations demonstrate that his unusual range and timing can be a serious threat. His position is held back by inconsistency: surprise and disruption are not the same as controlling a fight or securing a decisive win against a top opponent. The story gives him useful moments, but less evidence of dependable mastery in prolonged combat.
10. Capone “Gang” Bege
Bege is a formidable strategist and his Castle-Castle Fruit offers exceptional defensive utility, especially for protecting allies or staging an operation. Those strengths matter, but this ranking focuses on direct fighting outcomes. His record shows more value as a planner and defensive organizer than as a duelist capable of defeating the strongest opponents on this list.
11. Jewelry Bonney
Bonney’s age-altering ability is tactically unusual and potentially dangerous, but through the Wano cutoff she has substantially less direct combat evidence than the others. This last position reflects the thinness of her demonstrated record under the chosen cutoff, not a claim that her ability has little potential or that she could not rank differently with later feats. Her placement is the least secure in the list.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Why the middle and lower places are less certain
The top four have the clearest recent evidence from major Wano battles, although even there, team victories should not be mistaken for identical individual strength. The remaining characters have fewer comparable fights, and some specialize in tactics, defense, or surprise rather than head-to-head victories. That makes a single linear order less dependable: a favorable matchup could change the result without changing the overall evidence available for this ranking.
Where to read the source material
For a direct comparison, read the One Piece manga in collected editions and follow each character’s fights in context. A scene’s outcome alone can be misleading without the opponent, allies, injuries, and conditions around it. The official Shueisha / Weekly Shonen Jump character page is useful for the historical identification of Luffy and Zoro as Worst Generation members, but its older bounty information is not a current roster or strength guide.
