En historias de Instagram desde el set de Velvet: El nuevo imperio, Márquez apareció junto a sus compañeros de reparto Miguel Varoni y Luciano D’Alessandro. People en Español identificó la producción como una serie de Telemundo basada en una historia española anterior. Su nota, actualizada el 1 de junio de 2025, señaló que Márquez ya seguía de nuevo a Sanz, aunque aún no a Shakira. People en Español
La publicación no explicó por qué cambió a quién seguía en Instagram ni confirmó una crisis sentimental. Tampoco relacionó las imágenes del set con un lanzamiento musical: eran momentos de un proyecto televisivo.
Qué se sabía del unfollow en mayo de 2025
El 28 de mayo de 2025, Revista Vea informó que usuarios de redes habían advertido que Márquez dejó de seguir a Sanz y a Shakira. La nota planteó como especulación que el gesto pudiera tener relación con la promoción de «Bésame»; dijo que ninguno de los dos se había pronunciado. Por eso, «¿crisis de pareja o puro marketing?» era una pregunta de la cobertura de aquellos días, no una conclusión demostrada. No se puede atribuir el unfollow a celos, a la canción o a una estrategia promocional con la información publicada.
La cronología posterior cambió el contexto
- 28 de mayo de 2025: Revista Vea reportó el unfollow y presentó posibles explicaciones como especulación.
- 1 de junio de 2025: People en Español dijo que Márquez volvía a seguir a Sanz y compartía historias desde el set; todavía no seguía a Shakira, según esa nota.
- 22 y 23 de diciembre de 2025: ¡HOLA! y Telecinco informaron, atribuyendo la noticia a fuentes cercanas, que la relación había terminado. Telecinco señaló que la noticia se conoció después de que celebraran juntos el cumpleaños de Sanz. Telecinco ¡HOLA! US

Así, la noticia de junio de 2025 debe leerse como una actualización de redes y una aparición desde el trabajo. Los reportes sobre el final de la relación llegaron meses después; no prueban qué motivó el unfollow de mayo.

Qué se atribuyó a fuentes y qué no fue una declaración directa
Al informar de la ruptura en diciembre, ¡HOLA! atribuyó a fuentes cercanas a la pareja la frase: «Están locos el uno por el otro pero son dos caracteres muy pasionales». No fue una declaración directa de Sanz ni de Márquez. La publicación también reprodujo palabras de Márquez en un directo sobre sus planes familiares para Navidad: «Estoy emocionadísima con la Navidad al pensar que, después de tantísimos años, voy a pasarla con mi familia. Porque no nos tenemos que olvidar que ellos lo son todo, más que el trabajo, las amistades, las parejas…. porque la familia siempre va a estar ahí». Ese comentario se produjo meses después y en otro contexto; no explica el gesto de Instagram de mayo.
