The theme is “Ice packs,” pointing to a sport played on ice. For a more direct clue, TechRadar gives the spangram hint “Best of puck.”
If you want to narrow down the board without seeing the full answers, Parade lists these first-two-letter pairs in order: SH, JE, DE, WI, AV, LI, and HO for the spangram. The spangram runs vertically from bottom to top.
How the hint mechanic works
In Strands, finding three words that are not theme answers earns an in-game hint that highlights letters in a theme word. Parade also describes forming words by dragging or tapping letters; theme answers remain highlighted in blue. The spangram describes the theme and touches two opposite sides of the board.
