- FILL / PHIL, GALE / GAIL, and PEAT / PETE: TechRadar gives these as examples of the name sound-alikes.
- HAIRY / HARRY: TechRadar’s author describes this as an imperfect match rather than a straightforward homophone.
- MERRY / MARY: Coverage suggests this pairing, though pronunciation varies.
- ATOM: TechRadar raises ADAM and TOM as possible intended names but does not establish which, if either, is intended.
- RUSTLE and WHINNY: WordHint describes them as sounding like familiar given names but does not identify a definitive name for either. Other coverage and discussion commonly read WHINNY as WINNIE or WINNY; the reviewed guides do not establish a canonical match.
The complete answer set is corroborated by three secondary answer guides. The specific name intended behind several entries is less certain than the word list itself.
