Why October 25’s answers aren’t confirmed yet
As of October 8, 2026, October 25 is still in the future. An October 25 entry appearing in an independent fan archive does not establish the official puzzle or its answers: the archive describes its entries as past-puzzle records. A guide published ahead of its listed date can reflect time-zone timing, but it does not verify a puzzle that has not yet become available.
TechRadar’s October 7, 2026 guide notes that a new Strands puzzle appears at midnight in each time zone. The October 25 puzzle should be checked once it is live for your location.
How Strands hints and answers work
Strands is a themed word-search game on a six-by-eight letter grid. Words can bend in any direction. The puzzle’s theme clue points toward a set of theme words, while the spangram is a word or short phrase that describes the theme and reaches two opposite edges of the grid.

Progressive help for the October 25 puzzle
No date-specific hint, spangram or theme-word list is confirmed yet. Once the puzzle is released, use clues in this order to limit spoilers:
- Theme nudge: start with a broad clue about the puzzle’s subject.
- In-game hint: find three non-theme words to unlock a letter highlight.
- Spangram clue: use a more direct clue about the phrase connecting the theme words.
- Full answer set: reveal the spangram and all theme words only if you want the complete solution.
When to check for the solution
Return after the October 25 puzzle has appeared at midnight in your time zone. Until then, any purported October 25 answer set is unverified; the early fan-archive listing is not confirmation of the official puzzle.
