How Strands hints work
Strands is a themed word-search puzzle: players trace letters in the grid to make words. Theme words fill the board, while the spangram expresses the theme and connects two opposite sides. The spangram is highlighted differently from the other theme words and may consist of two words.
Finding three non-theme words earns a hint that reveals letters from a theme word. If a hint is already active, another hint can reveal the order of those letters.
