How Connections works
The New York Times Help Center explains that players receive 16 words and must find four groups of four sharing a common link. Each puzzle has one solution, though some words may appear to fit more than one category. The groups are color-coded from yellow (easiest) through green and blue to purple (trickiest); editors curate the words and categories using the Oxford Dictionary. The daily game releases at midnight in the player’s timezone. New York Times Help Center: Connections
