Barrack Square Markets launched in Perth in 2025 as a Sunday morning gathering beside the Bell Tower, combining brunch stalls, wellness businesses and communal tables beneath the trees. The first announced season and a later 2026 season have both ended. A listing updated on 8 October 2026 advertises Sunday hours, but it conflicts with the official season dates, so check with the organiser before planning a visit.
What Barrack Square Markets offers
The market’s launch concept was an outdoor waterfront outing: visitors could browse breakfast and brunch stalls, find wellness activities and sit at long communal tables under the trees. PerthNow reported more than 20 vendors for the launch period, including food options such as smoothie bowls, crepes, bagels, shakshuka, coffee and fresh juice.
Launch-period food vendors named by PerthNow included Wild Bakery, Acai Addicts, East African Coffee, Who Gives A Crepe and Juice Station. Wellness businesses included The Early Ones run club, Stretch Lab Subiaco, Hay Street Chiropractic Clinic and Mana Recovery Studio. These names describe the launch lineup, not a confirmed roster for a future or current market.
Deputy Lord Mayor Bruce Reynolds described the intended atmosphere as a relaxed stroll, coffee and fresh food enjoyed at long tables under the trees. The City of Perth’s event partnership page also describes brunch, wellness, waterfront fitness, artisan makers and live entertainment. The City says the markets attract thousands of visitors; that is the City’s description, not an independently audited attendance figure.

The available listings do not establish a confirmed schedule after 10 May 2026. Treat the October listing as a lead rather than confirmation, and verify dates, hours and the precise meeting point with the organiser before travelling.
Where it is, and what to check before going
The market was launched in Barrack Square beside the Bell Tower. The official Perth Waterfront listing places its 2026 season at The Bell Tower, while the October 2026 third-party listing gives Barrack Street Jetty in Elizabeth Quay. Since the locations are worded differently, confirm the exact entrance or meeting point rather than relying on an old listing.
