For a shopper, these details matter most when considering whether the gown’s look can change between parts of the wedding.
How to compare the gowns
The official collection listing organizes dresses by silhouette, garment type, neckline, sleeves, back detail, train, fabric and decoration. Use those features to compare what you see, rather than relying on a single label such as “romantic” or “modern.”

Silhouette and movement
The listing includes A-line, column, mermaid and princess silhouettes. Consider how each design moves when walking, sitting and dancing, and whether its layers or overskirt will suit the ceremony and reception. A silhouette is a style choice; the listing alone does not establish how a particular gown will fit an individual wearer.
Neckline, sleeves and back
Compare neckline and back coverage alongside sleeve options. Detachable sleeves can change the amount of coverage or the visual balance of a gown, while an open-back design may create a different effect from a higher or more covered back. Consider how texture, embroidery, beading and transparency work together, and whether a fabric contrast is part of the gown’s design. Pronovias’ descriptions are useful for identifying the intended look, but they do not substitute for seeing and handling a specific dress.
Detachable details and double looks
A detachable overskirt, cape or sleeves can provide a more than one-part look without changing into a separate gown. Confirm exactly which components come with the style, how they attach and whether the underlying dress is intended to be worn on its own. A “double-look” description does not by itself confirm what is included in a particular order.

Train and venue practicality
Check the train length and how it will work with the venue, aisle, stairs and reception space. Ask the boutique how the train can be managed during the event and what adjustments may be possible.
