What does the trailer show?
Netflix introduces the trailer with the line, “It’s Dante’s world, we’re all just living in it.” It opens with military personnel describing Dante as a high-level threat. Dante says, “I work better with music,” as Papa Roach’s “Last Resort” plays. The trailer then introduces a villain’s plan to open the gates of Hell and draws Dante into the conflict. The action-heavy, irreverent feel is an interpretation of the trailer, not a quoted Netflix genre label.
Capcom’s release notice also points to a “Rollin’” opening-credit video featuring Limp Bizkit and an “Afterlife” music video by Evanescence.

What is the series about?
Netflix’s official synopsis describes Dante as an orphaned demon hunter for hire who becomes entangled in an effort to open a portal between the human and demon realms. He does not know that the fate of both worlds is tied to him. The trailer’s references to Hell and a threat that calls Dante into action reflect that central conflict.
Netflix’s Season 1 episode summaries add details including a museum heist in Vatican City, the mercenary organization DARKCOM, a family amulet, Mary’s past and the antagonist White Rabbit. Those details broaden the premise, but the official sources establish the adaptation’s connection to the franchise rather than placing it within the continuity of a particular numbered game.
