T3 reported on 11 February 2025 that the Xbox-based series would arrive on Netflix in some regions from 1 March, after Paramount+ chose not to continue it. Netflix availability varies by country, so check your local catalog for the current listing.
What Netflix picked up
T3 reported that Netflix would carry the first two seasons of Halo in some regions beginning 1 March 2025. The series is based on the Xbox game franchise. The report described a streaming licensing move, not Netflix taking over production. Read T3’s report.
Paramount+ had decided not to continue the show after its first two seasons, according to T3. The possibility of the series finding another home gave fans reason to hope for more, but that hope is not the same as a confirmed renewal.
Does Netflix’s deal mean Halo season 3 is happening?
No season-three order was reported. A platform licensing existing episodes does not establish that it has commissioned new ones. Neither the reported Netflix catalog move nor the available official Netflix listings confirm that production has resumed or that a third season is planned.

Is Halo on Netflix in your country?
Netflix’s catalog differs by territory. Its official Halo title page displayed a message that the title was not available in the country associated with that page, while a separate Netflix Ireland listing showed the 2021 series and its nine episodes. These pages illustrate regional variation; they do not establish availability in every country today.
To check, search for Halo in Netflix while using the catalog for your country, or open Netflix’s title page from your local account. The listing in your territory is the useful check for current availability.
