How many episodes are in Season 7?
Season 7 has six episodes. Brooker described them as a mix of genres and styles, ranging from deeply unpleasant to funny and emotional. He also said two are “basically feature-length”; that is his description, not a formal runtime category. Netflix’s guide has the episode summaries and cast details.
What are the Season 7 episodes?

The titles and official episode information are listed in Netflix Tudum’s guide. The range gives viewers different entry points: the season includes standalone stories as well as a continuation of an earlier episode.

What is the USS Callister sequel?
“USS Callister: Into Infinity” continues the story introduced in Season 4’s “USS Callister.” Netflix’s series profile announced the sequel as part of the 2025 season, and Brooker called it the series’ first sequel in Tudum’s coverage. It is the returning storyline among six episodes, rather than a requirement to understand every other installment.
Who is in the cast?
Season 7 is an ensemble, with performers including Awkwafina, Peter Capaldi, Emma Corrin, Paul Giamatti, Rashida Jones, Cristin Milioti, Chris O’Dowd, Issa Rae, Tracee Ellis Ross and Will Poulter. These are selected notable names, not the full cast; Netflix Tudum’s episode guide lists episode-specific cast and roles.
What kind of Black Mirror stories does the season tell?
Brooker called Season 7 “a little bit OG Black Mirror” and said, “They’re all sci-fi stories.” The ideas he discussed in Netflix Tudum’s April 10, 2025 panel transcript include biotechnology, a device for entering old photographs, a vintage film whose characters believe they are alive, and a retro video-game story informed by his experience as a 1990s video-game journalist. These are fictional premises, not descriptions of available products or services.
His broader framing is not simply that technology is bad: “We’re putting desirable-looking tech out there and showing people messing it up on their own,” he said in the same panel. That approach makes the human choices around imagined technologies part of the subject, alongside the technology itself.

Is Black Mirror getting another season?
In a January 9, 2026 Tudum interview, Brooker said Black Mirror will return. The interview does not give a Season 8 release date, so it does not establish when the next season will arrive. Season 7 remains the six-episode season that premiered in 2025.
