In its 28 November 2023 report, PerthNow described a photograph Loth shared with Bassingthwaighte alongside a tribute about the support, love and joy Bassingthwaighte had brought into their life. Loth uses they/them pronouns, according to PerthNow. WHO describes Loth as a stage manager who worked with Bassingthwaighte on the 2021 musical Jagged Little Pill.

What Bassingthwaighte said about the relationship
PerthNow reported in November 2023 that Bassingthwaighte had discussed being in a new relationship with a woman in an interview with Stellar, and described feeling overwhelmed by public interest. In a later account of that interview, Now To Love quoted her saying: “I’m in a beautiful relationship with a woman who makes my heart smile and makes me really happy.”
What happened after the 2023 post?
The tribute belongs to the couple’s public story in 2023, but it is not the latest relationship milestone. A No Filter listing published on 29 March 2026 describes Bassingthwaighte as engaged to Loth. Now To Love reported that the pair announced their engagement in October 2025. The cited coverage establishes the engagement announcement, not a wedding date or that a wedding has taken place.
