Posted on Dec. 13, 2024, it paired clips of the couple with a cover of John Legend’s “All of Me.”
What was in the NFL’s birthday video?
Sports Illustrated reported that the montage brought together several public moments from Swift and Kelce’s relationship:
- The couple reuniting and kissing after Swift’s 2023 concert in Buenos Aires.
- Their celebration after the Kansas City Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers 25–22 in overtime at Super Bowl LVIII.
- Kelce joining Swift onstage during an Eras Tour stop in London.
The clips made the post a relationship-focused birthday greeting, rather than a game highlight or a league announcement about the couple. Sports Illustrated’s report described the video as 31 seconds long.
What song played, and who performed it?
The soundtrack was a cover of John Legend’s “All of Me,” not a version performed by Legend himself. Yahoo Entertainment attributed the cover to Toby Gad and Celina Sharma in its Dec. 13, 2024 report. Yahoo Entertainment’s report names the performers.

How did the post fit the NFL’s broader Swift–Kelce coverage?
The birthday TikTok arrived amid the league’s wider effort to participate in public interest around Swift and Kelce. In an October 2023 Associated Press report, the NFL said it had a team monitoring social media for ways to engage with the phenomenon. Then-NFL senior vice president of social, influencer and content marketing Ian Trombetta described it as “a perfect storm of pop culture and sports colliding in a really positive way, with two incredibly passionate fan bases merging together and interacting in ways that they hadn’t before.”
The AP also reported the NFL’s statement that women made up 47% of its fans in 2023. That league-wide figure predates the birthday video; it does not measure the TikTok’s audience or show that the post changed the NFL’s fan base. Marketing consultant Rebecca Brooks, quoted in the same AP story about the 2023 attention cycle, cautioned against treating the moment as a lasting transformation, calling it a “momentary fascination.” The Associated Press report provides that broader context.

What is known about the video’s reach?
The cited reports establish the post’s date, reported runtime, soundtrack and featured moments, but do not establish how many people watched or engaged with it. Those details should not be mistaken for evidence of the video’s impact on the league’s audience.
