What is the Beast Games lawsuit about?
The lawsuit concerns contestants’ treatment during production of Amazon’s Beast Games. Contemporaneous reporting identified Amazon Alternative LLC, MrBeast-linked MRB2024 LLC and production company Off One’s Base LLC as defendants. The filing is a proposed class action: the plaintiffs sought to represent a wider group, but the available reporting does not establish that a court certified a class. What do the contestants allege?
According to reporting on the complaint, the plaintiffs allege violations involving pay, breaks, safety and care, as well as sexual harassment. These are allegations made in litigation, not findings of fact.
Wages and breaks
The contestants allege that they were not paid minimum wages or overtime they were owed and that they did not receive uninterrupted meal or rest breaks.

Safety, necessities and medical care
The complaint reportedly alleges that production exposed contestants to dangerous or unsafe conditions and that they received inadequate food, medical care and other basic necessities.
Sexual harassment and alleged mistreatment
The plaintiffs also allege sexual harassment and characterize their treatment as “chronic mistreatment.” That phrase describes their allegations; it is not a court’s conclusion.

What did the plaintiffs ask the court to do?
Reports say the plaintiffs sought class certification, wages they say are unpaid, and an injunction against the labor practices alleged in the complaint. Those are requested remedies, not relief shown to have been granted. The Hollywood Reporter summarized the requested relief.
Who are the plaintiffs, and how many are there?
Initial coverage described five contestants bringing the case. A 2025 report on an amended complaint said it named plaintiffs previously identified as Contestants 1–5. Because reporting has differed in how it describes the plaintiffs, the operative complaint should be checked before giving a definitive current count. CBS Los Angeles reported on the amended complaint.
