What is Moving On about?
Claire and Evelyn were once close friends but have been estranged for years. When they meet again at a funeral, they decide to get revenge on Howard, the widower of their recently deceased friend. As they reckon with the past, Claire reconnects with Ralph, a former love.
The film pairs that darkly comic setup with emotional material; the Associated Press review published March 15, 2023, described its mix of comedy and emotional resonance.
