Ms. Rachel said she and her family had “some family things to attend to.” She also said her YouTube absence was not because of Netflix. She did not explain the private circumstances behind the break.
What did Ms. Rachel say about her absence?
On March 19, 2025, a fan asked about new episodes in a comment on an Instagram post featuring Ms. Rachel and her husband, Aron Accurso. In a reply reported by E! News on March 21, she wrote: “I’m sorry. We’ve had some family things to attend to. Nothing to with Netflix, as that is content from YouTube.” E! News
Her explanation was limited to family matters. She did not identify what those matters were, so claims that a particular event or circumstance caused the hiatus go beyond what she disclosed.
When was the YouTube hiatus?
E! News reported that her last new YouTube upload before the gap was posted on January 9, 2025. It was titled “Hide and Seek with Ms Rachel & Elmo + More Games, Kids Songs, Nursery Rhymes & Social Skills.” By the time she commented on March 19, about two months had passed since that upload. “Two months” is an approximate description of the gap, not a precisely defined break with a stated start and end date.

Her answer directly rejected Netflix as the reason for the YouTube gap; it did not describe a departure from YouTube or a change in where her YouTube videos came from.
Does her later family announcement explain the hiatus?
On April 8, 2025, Ms. Rachel announced the birth of her daughter, Susannah. That announcement came after her March explanation, but the available reporting does not connect the birth, a pregnancy, or any other specific event to the family matters she mentioned. E! News
