The Premier League’s March 16, 2026 roundup names actor Tom Holland as Tottenham Hotspur’s most famous fan. It also lists Mark Wahlberg, Jude Law, Paul Whitehouse, Adele, Jessie J, Kendrick Lamar, Michael McIntyre and Lord Alan Sugar. That “most famous” label is an editorial choice, not an objective ranking; the available sources document these supporters to different degrees.
Who are Tottenham’s famous fans?
The Premier League’s roundup is the broadest recent list, while Tottenham’s own interviews and reports provide more detail about several individuals’ support.

Why Tom Holland is called Spurs’ most famous fan
The Premier League’s March 16, 2026 club-by-club roundup selects Holland for the title. Tottenham’s 2023 article also traces his support to the club’s 2019 Champions League run. In that interview, Holland said: “We are really enjoying it. It seems like they are playing really great football. The lads seem like they are really enjoying it so us, as Tottenham fans, right now, it feels really good.” Those comments referred to the team in September 2023, not necessarily to Spurs today.
The league roundup adds that Holland watched the end of Tottenham’s 2025 Europa League final win while filming in Los Angeles. Its choice reflects public prominence, but there is no objective fame scale or ranking method in the source.

Which famous supporters describe a long history with Spurs?
George Weah’s childhood connection
Tottenham’s report of Weah’s remarks at the 2024 Ballon d’Or ceremony records him saying: “I’m a very good fan because I believe he is very strong and clever striker and I support the team of Tottenham, since I was a kid.” He also explained: “(During the days of) Garth Crooks, during those days at Tottenham Hotspur, that’s all we watched so I love Tottenham although I never played for them.” This is a direct declaration reported by the club, with Weah describing how watching Spurs as a child shaped his attachment.
Jamie Kenna’s match-going support
In his September 2026 Tottenham interview, Kenna describes supporting Spurs for as long as he can remember. His account includes a first match in 1985, regular attendance and a trip to the 2025 Europa League final. That history speaks to duration and participation, rather than fame ranking.

Being named in a roundup, being publicly recognizable and having a well-documented history of support are different things. The Premier League supplies the current editorial pick and a wider set of names; Tottenham’s own interviews and report offer first-person or club-interview detail for Holland, Weah, Kenna and Boon. The sources do not establish one definitive ranking of celebrity supporters or equal evidence for every name.
