When did Morgan Wallen release “Smile”?
Wallen’s official announcement is dated December 31, 2024, and calls “Smile” an unexpected release following teasers on his Instagram and TikTok accounts. Apple Music likewise lists “Smile – Single” with a December 31, 2024 date. The official YouTube video page, however, shows a December 30, 2024 publication date. These are the dates shown by their respective platforms, not one identical timestamp.

Apple Music lists the release as a one-song single and credits Big Loud Records under exclusive license to Mercury Records/UMG Recordings. What is “Smile” about?
The song presents a relationship through the contrast between its appearance in a photograph and the distance between the couple.
